Kevin Derman (MSc, MBA, Doctoral Candidate) is an enterprise AI leader and researcher operating at the intersection of emerging technology, cloud infrastructure, and business strategy. Currently serving as National Director for the AWS Alliance and Head of the AI Innovation Lab at Slalom Canada, Kevin directs advanced innovation initiatives helping organizations turn complex data ecosystems into real-world AI capabilities. 

His research at Golden Gate University investigates the cutting edge of Generative AI and emerging paradigms, giving him a front-row view into what is technically viable today and transformative tomorrow. Kevin also hosts The Emerging Tech Podcast, breaking down advances across AI architectures, agentic workflows, and autonomous systems.
